The Production Planner will be responsible for the coordination of the flow of work and materials within and between departments within Mirus.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure the daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectations
  • Create and maintain a production schedule and prioritise job-orders for production optimisation
  • Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finish goods demand
  • Analyse and prepare documents needed for the support of production
  • Manage the bill of materials and item creation including managing/tracking engineering change release from the design/engineering department
  • Maintain data in the ERP system to support production and engineering releases including the creation of items/BOMs in the ERP system to match sales orders
  • Acting on results of MRP and interpreting/action the suggested actions
  • Configuring the appropriate settings in the ERP system to ensure the Mirus production and material control targets are met
  • Interact with all departments to resolve issues regarding manufacturing, customer services and accounting
  • Report to management on production progress, work in process, raw material and bill of materials
  • Take part in stock-taking activities

  • Experience of a similar role in a high-pressure manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience of using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed orientated
  • Have the ability to be able to shape new systems and processes
