Business Analyst

Location: Hingham

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (internally known as a Process Improvement Executive) to support the business with continuous improvement projects across the business.

This role will be responsible for investigating, and developing solutions to process issues by leading initiatives that contribute towards improving our efficiencies and promoting improved software system used within all areas of the business.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimise process performance throughout the business
  • Play a key role in the implementation, upgrade projects and promoting the use of software systems such as ERP and PDM within the business.
  • Document processes and create cross-functional workflow diagrams, studying system capabilities; writing specifications as appropriate.

About the person:

To be a successful candidate for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skillset:

  • Experience and working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
  • Experience in systems process optimisation within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and ability to identify weak points in processes.
  • Promote and police data quality through the organisation, participate in data migration projects or improvement initiatives.
