ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Production Technician this role will be involved in assisting all production areas, working to strict guidelines, and ensuring production deadlines are met efficiently by ensuring high levels of quality and traceability.

It is imperative that you can demonstrate strict attention to detail, along with good organisational skills and the ability to be able to work flexibly within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment

Our production technician roles are part of a dynamic and innovative team that produces high-quality aircraft seats for leading airlines.  The team is very different to usual assembly or technician positions, they are challenging roles which can open doors to grow your skillset and experience in an ever-growing industry.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities will include:

  • To produce complex electro-mechanical products from sub-assemblies through to final product assembly in line with appropriate quality standards and right first time.
  • To work in clean-room environments, using complex machinery/equipment in the production of carbon fibre products.
  • Work to strict sequenced assembly processes using high specification, electronically controlled assembly tooling.

ABOUT THE PERSON

To be a successful candidate for this role you must be able to demonstrate the below attributes and skillsets:

  • Previous assembly experience (product specific training will be given)
  • Previous experience in the assembly of complex electro-mechanical components
  • Able to comprehend and apply complex written PC based assembly processes
  • Knowledge of the mechanical assembly process when using metallic, plastic and composite structures
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
