Location: Hingham, Norfolk (NR9) – Office based role

Hours: Full time/permanent - 37 hours per week (Mon – Thurs: 8hrs/ Fri: 5hrs – finish early)

About the role

As a Project Manager at Mirus Aircraft Seating, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver new product and customer programmes on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards related to the fulfilment of assigned customer orders to achieve our targets.

You’ll help oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial programme assignment and design through to certification, production, and delivery ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, and customer requirements.

In your role as our Project Manager, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver assigned projects to agreed time, cost, and quality targets
  • Manage all aspects of the programme(s), including performance, cost tracking, quality and lead-time aspects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timelines and activities are met efficiently
  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and delivery reliability
  • Lead project reviews and communicate progress to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Present regular updates to the executive team via presentations and effective communication channels
  • Ensure that project scope, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved

About you

To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within project/programme management, have a passion for innovation, problem solving abilities and drive for optimal excellence and customer satisfaction along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience of project or programme management within either a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of NPI (New Product Introduction) and product lifecycle management
  • A good understanding of and experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external customers

Desirable:

  • Ideally from an Aerospace cabin/seating background but not essential
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards
  • Experience delivering complex mechanical or composite products
  • Understanding of certification and testing processes within aerospace
  • 3rd level qualification in an Engineering based subject

Personal skills / attributes:

  • The ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Project or equivalent project management tools
