ABOUT THE ROLE
This opportunity works within a vibrant and collaborative team within the aerospace sector with a fantastic range of industry leading products providing the ultimate passenger experience with innovative, high performing aircraft seating with opportunities to work directly with Airbus and Boeing, in addition to a global customer base.
Our Technical Documentation Co-ordinator has a passion in all they create, creating clear, concise and informative technical documentation. You will be transforming technical information into easily understandable materials and creating documents for both internal and external global stakeholders.
- Generation and delivery of Technical Publications documents to customers, including Component Maintenance Manual (CMM’s), Service bulletins, Service lists.
- Point of contact for customers and authorities for technical documentation queries
- Manage publishing software tools required by the business
- Co-ordinate the compilation and publishing of manufacturing instructions if required
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role we are looking for the below demonstratable skillsets and attributes:
- An engineering degree/Technical qualification/HND or HNC
- Previous experience of working in a Technical Role and/or support function
- Experience of authoring engineering documentation and a solid understanding of English
- Must have a good knowledge of publishing software and tools
- Must have used CAD images to aid authoring of publications
Desirable:
- Experience working with the aerospace/automotive or comparable industries or production/manufacturing environment
- Experience working within aircraft cabin interiors or seating is beneficial but not essential
Personal skills / attributes:
- Has a key eye for attention to detail
- Ensures accuracy in their work
- A passion for engineering and design
- Problem solver
