As a Test Facility Technician within MTEST your primary function will be to support the engineers and senior technicians to execute dynamic, static & life cycle tests for both Mirus Aircraft Seating and external customers.


The main responsibilities will include:

  • Static, Dynamic and Life Cycle test setups in accordance with test procedures.
  • To support with dynamic development & certification testing in accordance with customer test procedures and international regulations
  • Set up high speed cameras for test filming to customer requirements
  • Set up computer controlled data acquisition systems
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published health and safety procedures.


To be a successful candidate for this role you must be able to demonstrate the below attributes and skillsets:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, HNC/HND is advantageous
  • Previous Mechanical or electrical technician/engineering experience
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills
  • Organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
